Okay, so I may not be the most interesting read and I may not say anything that you don't already know but this diary is mainly for myself. I enjoy sharing it with others, particularly my close friends so they know what's happening in my world, but its still mainly for me. I love to type out my thoughts. Its a great break from my otherwise hectic day. And I love reading over old entries and seeing how much life has changed. So enjoy the read but try not to be too critical.

Because I Love Running Around Like Crazy!!
December 04, 2006 - 4:16 p.m.

Today I hit the ground running. Haidyn is not feeling well at all so it has made the day a lot more hectic. After feeding the girls, getting them dressed and getting myself ready, I headed over to Krista's to pick up my glasses. I left them there on Thursday. I thought they were here and had been feverishly searching for them all weekend. After picking up my glasses and getting a quick trim for Haidyn (yes, she was in serious need of a hair cut)we headed out to do some running around. I stopped by the bank to deposit Paul's paycheck. Sometimes I really wish he was paid on the 15th instead of the 16th (and paid the Friday before instead of the Monday after!). Anyway... rabbit trails.

After going to the bank, I headed over to Springfield Imports (formally known as Lipscomb Auto Group) and picked Paul up for lunch. Neither of us were very hungry so we drove around Springfield for about fifteen minutes until we settled on Subway inside the Wal-Mart on Campbell. I have to say that was a satisfying meal (and a healthy one) and for less than it would have cost us to eat at McDonalds (GAG) thanks to their meal deal. When we finished eating, we decided to wander through the toy section to look for a particular item that I've been wanting to get Haidyn for Christmas. Wal-Mart has it listed on their website (not as an online exclusive) but I cannot find it in their stores. Stupid Wal-Mart. Anyway. Believe it or not, walking through the isles with Paul was kind of relaxing. It helped give him a break from work, gave the girls a chance to spend some time with Daddy and gave both Paul and I better ideas as to what we will be getting the girls for Christmas.

Once I dropped Paul off at Spfld Imports, I headed over to Walgreens to fill a prescription for Haidyn. She has developed the eye infections again and I'm pretty sure that her ear infection has returned. Plus the fact that her nose is spewing green goo made me decide to take that prescription her dr. gave me "just in case" and fill it. Paul will hopefully be picking that up on the way home from work tonight. I headed home after that because I still had a ton of stuff to do.

As soon as we got home, I put Haidyn down for a nap and sat down at my desk to pay bills. GAG. I have to say that is one of the most stressful tasks. Even when I am not meaning to, I get uptight and cranky from doing them. But anyway. Because Paul was blessed with a nice paycheck, I was able to pay all of the bills for this period (side one) and still was able to transfer some into Savings. I called St. Johns and paid Haidyn's hospital bill; called MediaCom because I didn't recieve my bill; and contacted our auto insurance company to find out when the next bill is due. After updating our bank records with all of the debits and transfers, I sat down to work out a menu and grocery list. Guess what? It took me an hour and a half. How sad is that? But, I finally have a grocery list and a menu that should make Paul happy (not that he wouldn't be happy with anything I put down... I just put down some of his fav. meals:) ).

So the next item on my agenda is to straighten up the livingroom (there's no way I'll be able to get to the laundry before Paul gets home). Once Paul gets home from work, I'll be running to the grocery store to do the shopping, running home to make dinner, playing a game of Life with Morgan (because I promised her 4 days ago) and put away a basket of laundry before I jump in the shower and maybe have a "talk" with Paul (if Haidyn stays asleep for once) before getting some sleep and starting the madness all over again.

There are some nice things about having a planner and some not-so-nice things. One nice thing is that you are less likely to forget to do something that needs to get done. The not-so-nice thing is that you see, on paper, how much you have to get done and how much you still have left to do! myspace
