Okay, so I may not be the most interesting read and I may not say anything that you don't already know but this diary is mainly for myself. I enjoy sharing it with others, particularly my close friends so they know what's happening in my world, but its still mainly for me. I love to type out my thoughts. Its a great break from my otherwise hectic day. And I love reading over old entries and seeing how much life has changed. So enjoy the read but try not to be too critical.

My 2007 Launrdy List
January 08, 2007 - 1:20 p.m.

Its a New Year and already things are hectic. Last week Mari, the girls, and I ventured to Texas to see Lisa and the boys one more time and celebrate my mother's 49th birthday. We left around 11:40pm on Monday night and arrived some time around 9am the next morning. We were exhausted from the trip, to say the least. We headed back home early Saturday and arrived back in Springfield without any hiccups. Morgan stayed with my parents to visit for a couple of weeks until Cody reports for duty on the 23rd.

Today I have the spa party and am working on finishing up the cleaning so that we won't be tripping over laundry and Christmas decorations while we're trying to relax. Yes, I did say Christmas decorations. Its been a nutty couple of weeks. I didn't even have a lot of time to pack for the trip to Texas. Paul packed for me (THANK YOU so much, dear!). So my Christmas decorations are still mostly up. I'll be working on taking them down tomorrow. Right now I just want to get the house in some kind of order.

The rest of the week (aside from putting away the Christmas decorations) will be spent helping Mari pack & load things into the storage unit so that she's not having to stress or run herself ragged on the last few days before she moves back to Texas. *sigh* There's a subject to make me bawl all over. I will miss her terribly. It will such not being able to call her up and ask her if she wants to come over or see if she and Cody want to come for dinner. I will miss having someone to play cribbage or card games with on a normal basis. *sigh*

Crazy, crazy, crazy. Mari's birthday is in a couple of weeks. She'll be 30 years old. Two weeks later, Paul will turn 30, also. Krista's birthday is somewhere in between. Then there's Jeremy's birthday on the 16th of Feb and Cody's birthday is a day later. LOTS of birthdays in February. Becky is due in February and we're hoping to get pregnant some time around there. Our 3rd anniversary is the first of May. Alexa is possibly (the date is not set in stone yet) getting married on the 30th of June so that will keep us busy and we're supposed to have the Blandford family reunion a week or so after that in Colorado. We'll see how all of that pans out. Morgan starts kindergarten this fall which is another milestone I will probably bawl all over the place for.

There is so much planned for this year. The one thing that I am thankful for is that God is in control. Right now, thinking of all the stuff that is going on and will be going on, I could just pull my hair out but it is awesome to know that I'm not the one that is in control. Regardless of what is going to be taking place, it is all in His hands and will work out just the way He intended. That give me peace to get through each day without worrying (too much) about the next. The only thing that I'm overly anxious about is baby number three. And that is only because Paul and I, as you have read previously, have the baby bug REALLY bad. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas to arrive. *sigh*

I am rambling on and on and really need to get back to my cleaning. I can rattle on about my chore/wish lists some other time. If I don't get my house finished, I'll be stressing all over again and that is something I have no intention of doing. So, off I go! Toodles!
