Okay, so I may not be the most interesting read and I may not say anything that you don't already know but this diary is mainly for myself. I enjoy sharing it with others, particularly my close friends so they know what's happening in my world, but its still mainly for me. I love to type out my thoughts. Its a great break from my otherwise hectic day. And I love reading over old entries and seeing how much life has changed. So enjoy the read but try not to be too critical.

My Sister
January 12, 2007 - 1:53 p.m.

I am exhausted. More emotionally than physically right now. We finished packing and cleaning last night and Mari & Cody headed to Texas early this morning. I am so excited for them to be opening this new chapter in their life. I will just miss them terribly. I bawled all over the place yesterday. I'm sure I'll bawl again before the day is through. It was wonderful to have family here. It was so special to have my sister so close - and for us to have the opportunity to grow so close to eachother. She because moe of my best friends. If I needed a little bit of company, I knew I could call her and she would come. I really enjoyed the nights spent playing card games like cribbage and Miles Bornes (sp?), I will miss a lot of things about her. As she said yesterday, I am thankful for the time we were able to spend together, for the opportunities the Air Force will afford them and for the hope of their return in six years (or 20 if he decides to go career). Six years isn't that long, right? *sigh*

I am at a loss for what to type. I think I will nap. Maybe that will clear my head and help me function a little better. I will miss you terribly, Mari. THank you so much for giving me the opportunity to grow so close to you. We really enjoyed having you both here and I am so thankful that you fell in love with this area like we did. I look forward to helping you move back up here some day. And even if God has other plans, I am thankful that you were able to come up here at all. I love you!
