Okay, so I may not be the most interesting read and I may not say anything that you don't already know but this diary is mainly for myself. I enjoy sharing it with others, particularly my close friends so they know what's happening in my world, but its still mainly for me. I love to type out my thoughts. Its a great break from my otherwise hectic day. And I love reading over old entries and seeing how much life has changed. So enjoy the read but try not to be too critical.

Is It Over Yet?

So I am finally going to update. I can't believe I haven't done so all week (of course I don't count the 2 sentence entry that I did on Wednesday). This week can be summed up in two words - SUCKY WEATHER.

Yes, it is truly terrible weather. Now, you all know that I love the winter time. I love snow and cooler weather as the summer makes me want to climb into an ice bath and stay there. I love the change of the seasons. But seriously, I'm ready for another change. It has been so cold and blustery for so long (and cloudy) that it is getting depressing. We have seen a couple days of sunshine but its been way too miserable to enjoy it. Today is by no means any different. Well, except for the fact that it is SO windy. Oh my gosh it is so windy. It woke me up at like 3:00am and made the house sound like it would be blown apart. Paul's boss had to go to the lot at 3:30 this morning because the Porsche show room doors were blown open by the storm and the alarm went off. Yikes! It was WINDY! Our trash bin got knocked over and is laying at the bottom of our driveway but I'm too much of a chicken to brave the cold to go pick it up. The wind is supposed to die down soon so I will go out there shortly.

I really am ready for spring with greener surroundings and warmer breezes. Oh well. At least I know it will be over before I know it, especially since I've got something to help make the time fly. I have said in the past that when I have an event to look forward to, the time flies by so fast that its not funny. Well, we are going on a weekend trip with Nancy and Chris and I am so excited. It has been so long since I've spent more than just a couple hours with my best friend without the kids. And even longer since I've just gone out shopping or whatever just "the girls". We have talked about it for the past two years but have never been able to get away but this March, Lord-willing, we will be able to spend a couple of days away from all the chaos known as our lives. :) I'm so excited. But in the meantime, I have to deal with the crummy weather and try to stay in a good mood until it starts to warm up.

Guh! I have to cut this short. Haidyn is being an absolute terror this morning and its making it difficult to do anything but follow her around and tell her "No, don't touch that" and "No, don't put that in your mouth!" *sigh* Well, off I go. Are we having fun yet? :p
