Okay, so I may not be the most interesting read and I may not say anything that you don't already know but this diary is mainly for myself. I enjoy sharing it with others, particularly my close friends so they know what's happening in my world, but its still mainly for me. I love to type out my thoughts. Its a great break from my otherwise hectic day. And I love reading over old entries and seeing how much life has changed. So enjoy the read but try not to be too critical.

Vacation Time!!! :D

The wedding is over and I am exhausted. I have to say that was one of the most beautiful weddings I've seen. Her colors were gorgeous. But seriously, I'm glad its behind us. Now its countdown until our Colorado trip. Actually, we only have two more days until we leave. I am so excited.

There is so much to do before we go. I am so glad that we decided against leaving right after the wedding. It was an exhausting affair and there is no way I could have had everything ready to go for the camping trip AND get things together for the wedding. So I sat down and created a check list of all the things we need to pack... how I'm going to fit it all in the car and still be comfortable will be interesting. Maybe we'll run to Wal-Mart and buy some of those bags you use with your vacuum in order get things more compact. We'll see.

Tomorrow is the 4th of July. Paul has the day off and that is great. We're supposed to spend a bit of the day with Jamie, Josh and their family. Paul made me feel very special last night by telling me that he wanted to spend some time just as a family a little bit tomorrow. I love my hubby. So back to tents, sleeping bags and lots of blankets... I know its pathetic but we're bringing the air mattress. I will not be able to sleep for a week on the ground. My back will be killing me by the time we head over to Steamboat Springs.

Have I mentioned how excited I am to start our vacation? :) Paul so badly needs this (as do I). It has been 3 years since we were in Colorado. Its amazing how fast the time flies! *sigh*

Jabber, jabber, jabber.... look at me, typing away when I have a mile-long list of things that need to be done before Thursday. I am going to end this and get back to packing. Two more days.... woo hoo!! :D
