Okay, so I may not be the most interesting read and I may not say anything that you don't already know but this diary is mainly for myself. I enjoy sharing it with others, particularly my close friends so they know what's happening in my world, but its still mainly for me. I love to type out my thoughts. Its a great break from my otherwise hectic day. And I love reading over old entries and seeing how much life has changed. So enjoy the read but try not to be too critical.

The Secret

So do you want to know the secret? I don't think its as much of a secret any more. :p

We're pregnant! Woo hoo!! I took a test on Monday and could not contain my excitement. Morgan looked at me like I was crazy as I jumped up and down with glee. Hee hee. I was SO tempted to text a picture of the HPT to Paul but I had planned for a while that if we got pregnant, I would surprise him over dinner. So I called one of my best girl friends, Krista, and asked her if she'd watch the girls for me for an hour or so so that I could tell Paul. She was SUPER excited and readily agreed.

Paul and I dropped the girls off after Republic's Open House (kindergarten) and went to Jimmy Johns (NUMMY!). I had taken a picture of the HPT and brought the camera with me. I was afraid that Paul was going to figure out that something was amiss but my fears were unfounded. After we sat down to eat, I handed Paul the camera and waited for his reaction. His shear surprise was perfect and he even got teary-eyed. I love my husband! I had already called and talked to Dr. William's nurse, Sarah, so I was able to give Paul more information. As it stands now without verifying via ultrasound, our DD is 4/20. My first appointment is on September 10th for the initial blood work (yikes). I will be seeing the Nurse for that. The first appointment with Dr. Williams is on the 21st when I will be roughly 10 weeks. That is when we'll get the ultrasound to verify the due date.

Paul has been a real sweetheart since I told him (not that he wasn't before). He is SO excited about the pregnancy. We told Morgan and she insists that its a boy. We'll see, huh? We're hoping for a boy but either way, we will be excited and happy. :) Goodness... I had a lot more to say but my mind has blanked. I will just end it here for now.
